About Joining Redwood Park Association

By becoming a member of the Redwood Park Association, you can be directly involved in helping preserve these parklands as irreplaceable parts of our national heritage. You can join others who care and are motivated to do their part for this World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve! Redwood National and State Parks comprise more than 130,000 acres of coast redwoods and seashore. The Smith River National Recreation Area protects an adjacent 300,000 areas of a pristine watershed and diverse ecosystem. By advocating increased public understanding of these world renowned areas, rich with wonderous natural and cultural resources, the Redwood Park Association also tangibly assists in raising public support for their long-term preservation and care.

RPA believes that public awareness and involvement are the most powerful elements in saving these parklands for current and future generations. This association’s support of park-based educational and scientific programs is helping.
